Owls To Hold Their Own Amazing Race

The Temple football team will conduct its own version of “The Amazing Race” on Wednesday, as the Owls scatter throughout Center City Philadelphia in a timed scavenger hunt organized by the coaching staff.

Coach Al Golden’s squad will gather at the Liberty Bell at 5th and Market Streets at 3:30 p.m. and split into nine teams, each of whom will receive clues about where to go and what to collect before returning to the Liberty Bell to claim their prize.

The afternoon excursion will include stops at various Center City landmarks and businesses such as the Reading Terminal Market and the United States Courthouse.

With less than a week to go before the start of preseason camp (August 7), Temple’s Amazing Race will give the Owls a chance to have some fun before they get down to the serious business of MAC football.
