In one of the ugliest and most unusual Temple games in memory, the Owls prevailed 74-65 over Richmond. After a 16-13 first half in which the teams shot a combined 22%, the second half saw a parade to the foul line as Temple made 34 of 40 to offset David Gonzalvez, who set a Liacouras Center record for a visiting player with 36 points for the night.
